Pre ride visit with Mike and Fran June 4th to 6th

Had a great visit with Mike and Fran, Sadie and Stewie, Varn and Ann. Got to see Mike surf. Fran, Mike and I had a delicious meal at Phils then we played some shuffle board and Mike ruled as the king. The drive to Sacramento was fine. Got to stop off at Diddy Riese for 1/2 dozen cookies and ice cream sandwich for $3.50. Had a nice meal at Chillis with Varn and Anne before Mike dropped me off the next day in San Francisco to meet the group for the ride cross country. Almost didn't make it there when Mike realized we had no gas as we were about to cross the bridge to SF. Luckly a worker at the public road safety station gave us 2 gallons to get us across in the stop and go traffic.
